From an Idea to a Complete Shopify Webshop for Sukru Sani 🥤

I had the opportunity to develop a completely new webshop for Sukru Sani's Surinamese syrups.

The challenge was greater than just building a webshop.

The website needed to reflect Sukru Sani's identity: tradition, fun, and uniqueness. At the same time, the webshop had to help manage orders efficiently, build a customer base, and increase online reach.

🎨 Design

I used the existing branding as a base, with orange, white, and dark brown. For typography, I chose Aldery Pro Blockletter, a font that fits well with the brand's striking and playful appearance.

🛒 Shopify

The webshop was built in Shopify using Horizon as a base. From there, I customized the navigation, typography, and various components to fully align the website with the brand.

Additionally, I set up the main e-commerce functionalities, such as products, payments, shipping, discount codes, customer accounts, reviews, and forms.

⭐ Loyalty System

One of my favorite components is the point system.

Customers can collect points and redeem them for discounts. The system can also encourage customers to follow Sukru Sani on social media, for example.

This way, a webshop becomes more than just a place to buy products: it becomes a way to keep customers engaged.

The result is a fast, responsive webshop with a unique look that clearly reflects Sukru Sani.

This project was particularly interesting because I had to translate the client's vision into something that is not only beautiful but also functional and engaging for the end-user.
